2nd Annual Access for All Abilities Showcase

Brainstorm Florida is excited to participate in the 2nd Annual Access For All Abilities Showcase on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Hilton West Palm Beach Airport. This important event provides individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses access to innovative resources, products, and technologies aimed at enhancing their quality of life. Brainstorm Florida will be showcasing its cutting-edge personalized repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (PRTMS) treatments, which offer hope and improvement for children with autism, ADHD, OCD, and Down syndrome. By participating in this showcase, Brainstorm Florida aims to educate families and healthcare providers about the potential of PRTMS in managing neurodevelopmental conditions and improving cognitive and social function.

One of the most promising applications of PRTMS is in treating autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Research has shown that transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can improve social skills, language abilities, and cognitive function while reducing repetitive behaviors and irritability. By targeting cortical inhibitory imbalances, TMS addresses a core neurological feature of autism, helping to improve executive function, reduce stimulus-bound behaviors, and regulate autonomic nervous system responses. Clinical trials, including those conducted by Yale Medicine, are actively exploring TMS as a treatment for ASD, reinforcing its potential as a breakthrough therapy. Brainstorm Florida is committed to bringing these advancements to families in Palm Beach County and beyond, offering new possibilities for children with neurodevelopmental challenges.
